About Us

School of Hope, a non-political, non-government, non-profitable, voluntary social and charitable organization of individuals was established in January 1990, in a garage, as a private initiative by Mr. Wim Bakker, a Dutch man and was registered as Charity School under Vattara Hope Foundation in 2014 by The Society registration Act, 1860 (ACT XXI of 1860), Joint Stocks of the government of Bangladesh. From the very beginning of the establishment she is helping the destitute students to be self-helped acquiring institutional education of the primary level conducted by the state law. Under the constitutional functions of the Vattara Hope Foundation she may expand her activities in skill development programs beside the academic side also.

Some features of SoH

  • Only 300 BDT whole year’s tuition fees. Per day One Taka School 10 months, 30 days altogether 300 BDT. This fees is only taken to show self-respect to the kids so that they can say “we should not be pitied but we should be loved as we are following give and take policy even though it is a poor amount but not free of costs!”

  • Always puts emphasizes on the goal to impart quality education to the real needy one keeping the total figure of , not more than 250 kids

  • Always keeps the ration of teachers and learners 1:25 in per classes. If there is more than 40+ there must be sections following the same routine and rotational teachers’ lesion plan and practices

  • In both cases of Learners and teachers 50%, 50% gender equity
