Present Events (2023)

March:

On 7th March outgoing students from class VI to X of SoHreceivedSoH-Lindex Scholarship 2022. 569500 BDT have been disbursed among 67 students to continue their high school and the honorable member and representative of Lindex office at the VHF Board, Mr. RashedulKarim was present at that occasion. On 9th March the boys of SoH paid an honor to the Women of SoH through observing Women’s Day.

February:

On 14th February SoH celebrated the Spring Festival and on the same day the winners of art competition on ORYX Bangladesh’s 30th Anniversary were awarded with prizes. At the same time the students and staffs of SoH paid homage to the Language Movement Martyrs as well as observed the International Mother Language Day

January:

With new Curriculum and with new books SoH has commenced its academic year 2023 with regular Book distribution festival, students’ home visit, parents meeting of KG class and regular class. In the meantime students took part in an art competition on ORYX Bangladesh’s 30th Anniversary, in a language learning project through game. Square donated 69 pieces of blankets as winter donation to the newly admitted kids

Past Events (2022)

December:

On 5th December the Annual Result Giving and Cultural Program 2022 as well as the Farewell of class V took place in SoH premises. SoH is giving thanks to Target and Homebound to help SoH in giving winter clothes to the students and treats on the very day of Annual Result Giving. After result SoH has started the Readmission process along with Home visit for the next academic year of 2023 also and school will be resumed of 5th January with the next academic year. 

November:

Full November students and teachers were busy with study, preparation and Annual Exams of 2022. Exams continued from 17th Nov to 24th Nov. After Exam students took part in an art competition arranged by AbintaKabir Foundation and started practices for the Annual Result Giving and Cultural Program 2022

October:

In October SoH students from music class visited AUSIS to attend the Cultural Week as the guest performers. Students attend on a workshop on photography arranged by Goethe Institute-Bangladesh , started the process of New admission for 2023and welcomed the visitors from VF Asia

September:

Finishing Half yearly SoH  paced for the Annual of 2022 with full swing classes. So arranged Parents Meeting for students betterment. Again In September SoH welcomed the visitors from Target, Lindex and the very first student of SoH in 1990 batch!  And took preparation for the Covid-19 vaccine for the students from KG to V

2022 (July) & 2022   (August)

From mid-July, after the Eid vacation the school resumed and the Result of Half Yearly Exam 2022 was published on August 4th, 2022 as well as the exam copies were shown to the guardians for the betterment of the students.

2022 (June)

June, was a month ofvarious activities, a garments sale in IC took place, Officers from Sweden Lindex paid visit to SoH, a Health checkup program was held by a group of volunteer doctors, program on our national poet and Rabindranath Tagore, Half Yearly exams both in written and oral took place in June from 22nd to 29th

 

2022 (May)

In May SoH observed May Day celebration as well as the academic activities went on full swing.

2022 (April)

In April SoH Arranged a garment sale with a reasonable price both for expats and local people in her premises in a very organized way. You are welcome to our next sale!

2022 (March)

In March a group of students came to visit SoH with a gift for the students National Children Day on the Birthday of the father of the Nation, celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Independence of Bangladesh and students remain busy in class and lessons

2022 (February)

During the closing teachers came to school to receive and give assignments to students. And after reopening SoH received some donation from Oryx Bangladesh and distributed the stipend of the outgoing students on 23.02.22

2022 (January)

On January 6’ 2022 the academic session resumed with book distribution classes and Home visit. But from January 21’ 2022 school remained closed due to Covid19 rising up to 21st February.  During this period SoH continues the Assignment program for the students.

Before strict lockdown, giving home tasks to the students, cluster meeting of out going students, online meeting with students and teachers on study purposes

School of Hope, a non-political, non government, non- profitable, voluntary charity school was founded in 1990, as a private initiative by Mr. Wim Bakker, a Dutch man and later registered under Vattara Hope Foundation in 2014 by The Society registration Act, 1860 (ACT XXI of 1860), Joint Stocks of the government of Bangladesh to achieve the goal of providing free Primary Education.
